Most Pokemon games make you the hero. Team Rocket flips the script: you play as Team Rocket online, signing on as a recruit and working your way up the syndicate. Every mission you run, every wild Pokemon you snag, and every rival trainer you beat builds your reputation inside the organisation. The tone is classic villain-era Kanto: back-alley deals, warehouse jobs, and a boss who is always watching your numbers.
The game is a persistent, text-first browser RPG in the tradition of the old mafia-style games. Your trainer keeps progressing while you are away - energy, will, and brave refill on real-world timers, so the game rewards checking in a few times a day rather than marathon sessions.
