Team Rocket

Life of Crime

The Pokemon Crime RPG: Play the Syndicate, Not the Hero

Team Rocket crosses classic Pokemon with the old-school text mafia games: you join Team Rocket, run criminal missions, build a gang, and climb the syndicate from fresh Grunt toward the executive ranks. Free, browser-based, no download.

Missions and Crimes

Every town posts Team Rocket missions - from snatching supplies off a delivery cart to serious operations that need a trained Pokemon crew. Missions cost Brave, a resource that recharges on a real-world timer, so every attempt is a decision rather than a button-mash. Success pays money, crime experience, and trainer EXP. Some missions demand a specific Pokemon type or species before you can even attempt them - a Poison-type for a stealth job, a strong Fighting-type for the heavy work.

Fail, and things get interesting: botched jobs can drop you in jail, where other players can attempt to bust you out - or leave you to serve your time.

Gangs: Your Own Corner of the Syndicate

Gangs are player-run crews inside Team Rocket. Each gang has a shared vault for money and crystals, private forums, a respect score, member capacity upgrades, and a president and vice-president running the show. Recruit members, pool resources, and make a name for your crew on the hall of fame.

Gang featureWhat it does
Shared vaultPool money and crystals for upgrades and payouts.
Gang warsDeclare war on rival gangs; attacks between warring gangs earn or bleed respect.
Organised crimePlan multi-member jobs for shared rewards - the bigger the crew, the bigger the target.
RespectThe gang scoreboard: earned in wars and operations, lost in defeats.

Organised Crime: Crew Jobs

Solo crime pays the bills; organised crime builds legacies. Gangs can plan larger operations that need multiple members committed to the same job. The gang picks the target, the clock starts ticking, and when the job resolves the whole crew shares the outcome - a payout in the vault, or a story about the one that got away. Bigger crews unlock bigger targets.

Major expansions to organised crime are in active development - role-based heists where each member locks in a Pokemon for the job. Watch the announcements.

A Pokemon Mafia Game, Old-School Style

Call it a Pokemon mafia game, a crime RPG, or a PBBG - text-first crime games are built for the long game. Your resources regenerate in real time whether you are online or not, so progress comes from smart decisions a few times a day, not endless grinding. It is the format that made the classic browser mafia games addictive for years - here it comes with Pokemon catching, training, evolution, and type-based battles layered on top.
